Professional guard for engine and manifolds.
Multiply aligned
indentations provide maximum stability on the 4 mm thick aluminium base.
A subconstruction distributes the occurring forces with maximum
efficiency. This makes the Touratech *Expedition* engine guard one of
the strongest on the market. There is no restriction of ground
clearance.
Plastic runners on the underside of the base make it
easier to "glide" over stones, rocks or tree stumps. And almost
incidentally they also prevent dirt build-up.
The 1290 Super Adventure
engine guard is raised up so far at the front that any stones that are
thrown up cannot damage the engine block.
