High-tech materials and advanced manufacturing techniques
The Touratech Compañero Rambler PRO is made from GORE-TEX® Pro 3-layer laminate, with particularly exposed areas reinforced with ARMACOR® with KEVLAR®. When designing the suit, the developers took great care to avoid unnecessary seams. The existing seams are made particularly robust with special yarns. This combination of high-tech materials with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques achieves outstanding abrasion and tear resistance values.
360-degree protection thanks to certified protectors
The Compañero Rambler PRO has high-quality protectors on the back, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees to ensure it also scores top marks for impact absorption. With the exception of the hip protector, they all fulfil the particularly effective protection class Level 2. The powerful combination of maximum abrasion resistance and maximum impact absorption has earned the Compañero Rambler PRO the highest possible AAA certification in accordance with the EN 17092-2 standard for motorbike protective equipment - a globally unique selling point in the women‘s textile suit segment.
Gore-Tex PRO three-layer laminate with 28,000 millimetres water column
The Touratech Compañero Rambler PRO doesn‘t just offer superlatives in terms of protection. Its comfort is also in a league of its own. In addition to the waterproof and breathable climate membrane with a water column of up to an incredible 28,000 millimetres (the equivalent of water pressure at a depth of almost 30 metres), the sophisticated ventilation system is responsible for maximum comfort in all weather conditions.
Sophisticated VCS AQUADEFENSE ventilation system
The VCS AQUADEFENSE ventilation system developed by REV‘IT! allows maximum air flow at high temperatures. Flap openings on the chest and thighs allow air to flow in through the three-dimensional BALLISTIC MESH fabric. Thanks to the FIDLOCK® magnetic fastener, the watertight flaps remain reliably open even at high speeds.
Additional cooling air can flow in through the VCS front ventilation (Ventilation Control System). This provides a three-centimetre-wide opening backed with BALLISTIC MESH parallel to the front zip of the jacket, which covers the entire height of the upper body. With its double zip, the mesh panel can be closed quickly when it gets cold or rainy. Waterproofing is guaranteed by the jacket‘s main zip, an original TIZIP®.
To maximise airflow throughout the suit, there are additional vents on the upper arms, forearms, back and front and back of the legs.
Removable mid layer for an extra wide range of uses
A special feature that emphasises the wide range of uses of the Compañero Rambler PRO is the removable mid layer for trousers and jacket. The inner jacket can also be used separately as a leisure jacket.
Dedicated cuts for women and men
To ensure an optimum fit, the Compañero Rambler PRO is available in gender-specific cuts. Both versions are designed for a comfortable touring experience, even on the longest routes.
In conjunction with generously dimensioned stretch zones on the knees and seat, flutter-free comfort is guaranteed even at high speeds, while straps for width adjustment also allow individual customisation.
Sophisticated details such as the zips on the jacket sleeves make it easier to put on and take off the jacket, while zips on the side jacket hem allow maximum freedom of movement when seated.
The feature set also includes a detachable kidney belt and a storm collar; a zip allows the jacket and trousers to be combined.
